Habutae Dango — Main Shop (羽二重団子 本店)
History
Founded in 1819. Its name compares the fine texture of its dumplings to habutae silk. The main shop was renovated in 2019.
Dango are small dumplings. Here you can choose grilled dango (焼き団子) or dango with sweet bean paste (餡団子). Visit this main shop for the eat-in option, rather than assuming the station-front branch offers the same service.
