Hibiya Matsumotoro — Main Restaurant (日比谷松本楼 日比谷本店)
History
Founded when Hibiya Park opened in 1903. The building was lost to a fire in 1971 and the restaurant reopened in 1973. It continues to serve Western-style meals in the park.
The ground-floor restaurant serves curry (カレー), hayashi rice (ハヤシライス) and omelet rice (オムレツライス). Hayashi rice pairs rice with a Western-style stew; the restaurant upstairs has a separate menu and dining arrangements.
