Izuu — Main Restaurant (いづう 本店)
History
Founded by Izumiya Uhee in 1781. The shop has supplied sushi to Gion's entertainment quarter and local residents, with the eat-in space added by a later generation.
Saba sugata-zushi (鯖姿寿司) is mackerel sushi. You can buy it to take away or use the main shop's eat-in space; check the arrangements for each.
