Minokichi Honten Takeshigero (美濃吉本店 竹茂楼)
History
Minokichi traces its origins to a roadside teahouse begun at Sanjo Kawara in 1716. The present restaurant includes a main building and an annex relocated from Gokayama in Toyama Prefecture; the age of the business is separate from that of its buildings.
Kyoto kaiseki (京懐石) is a meal served in several courses. This restaurant has a tradition of freshwater-fish dishes (川魚料理); reserve ahead for lunch or dinner.
