Mishimatei — Main Restaurant (三嶋亭 本店)

History

Founded in 1873 as a beef restaurant. The Teramachi-Sanjo main premises serve dishes including sukiyaki and also sell meat. Dining and meat purchases have different hours.

Choose sukiyaki (すき焼き), a seasoned beef dish cooked in a pan; oil-grilled beef (オイル焼き); or shabu-shabu (しゃぶしゃぶ), thin beef slices cooked in broth. Restaurant dining and the butcher counter have separate hours.

Restaurant 11:00–21:00 (last arrival 20:00). Meat sales 9:00–19:00.

Closed

Tuesday and other irregular closing days. Closures shift when Tuesday is a public holiday.

Visiting

Restaurant dining has separate reservation arrangements. Meat is also sold to take away.
