Shichijo Kanshundo — Main Shop (七條甘春堂 本店)
History
Founded in 1865. The confectionery tradition continued through later generations, with the business eventually dividing into Kanshundo for sales and Shichijo Kanshundo for production. Manufacturing stopped temporarily during the war; the founding date refers to founding.
Choose seasonal fresh sweets (上生菓子) or dry sweets (干菓子). Kyo Tofu (京豆水) is an azuki-bean confection; its name does not mean it is a savory tofu dish.
