Aoyagi Sohonke — Osu Main Shop (青柳総本家 大須本店)

Nagoya / OsuJapanese sweets

History

Founded as a yokan shop outside Osu's temple in 1879. It later began making uiro and experienced wartime destruction and reconstruction. Its age is counted from the shop's opening, excluding the founder's earlier training.

Aoyagi Uiro (青柳ういろう) is a steamed, rice-flour sweet. Kaeru Manju (カエルまんじゅう) is a frog-shaped filled sweet. Both are sold at the Osu main shop.
