Kikuzato Shogetsu (菊里松月)
History
Opened in 1923 as an independent branch after its founder trained at Shogetsu in Osu. It once had a café corner, but current information mainly covers confectionery sales. Its age is counted from Kikuzato Shogetsu's opening, excluding the history of the training shop.
Ohagi (おはぎ) and ankoro mochi (あんころ餅) are rice-based sweets with sweet bean paste. This is a place to buy sweets to take away; do not assume the former café is operating.
