Minochu — Main Shop (美濃忠 本店)
History
Founded in 1854. Although it carries on techniques from the confectioner Kikyoya, the shop's age is counted from the start of Minochu itself. Alongside yokan, it sells sweets available in particular seasons.
Agari Yokan (上り羊羹) is a soft steamed red-bean sweet sold seasonally, usually from late September to early May. Check availability for your visit. Buy sweets to take away from the Marunouchi main shop.
