Tsuruya Hachiman — Osaka Main Shop (鶴屋八幡 大阪本店)
History
Founded as Tsuruya Hachiman in 1863, carrying on techniques from Toraya Iori. The present Osaka main shop in Imabashi combines confectionery sales with a tea room.
Buy fresh Japanese sweets (和生菓子) or visit the weekday tea room for a matcha-and-sweets set (抹茶と和菓子のセット). Matcha is powdered green tea. Check the tea-room hours separately from shop hours.
