Shibamata Kawachiya (柴又 川千家)
History
Began as a riverside-fish teahouse during the Anei era, 1772–1781. In the Meiji period it moved from the river to the present temple approach, where it has welcomed visitors to Shibamata Taishakuten.
Unaju (うな重) is grilled eel served over rice in a box. Carp dishes (鯉料理) are also available. The walk-in dining room and private-room course meals have different booking arrangements.
