Shushikian Osakaya (秋色庵大坂家)
History
Founded during the Genroku era, 1688–1703. After operating in Nihonbashi and relocating following wartime damage, the shop continues making Japanese sweets in Mita.
Shushiki monaka (秋色最中) is a crisp wafer sweet with a bean filling. The shop also sells seasonal fresh Japanese sweets to take away.
