Usagiya — Ueno (うさぎや)

Tokyo / UenoJapanese sweets

History

Founded in 1913, Usagiya has dorayaki and monaka as its signature sweets.

Dorayaki (どらやき) sandwiches sweet bean paste between two small pancakes. Kisaku monaka (喜作最中) is a sweet with a crisp wafer shell and bean filling. Buy them here to take away; the nearby Usagiya CAFÉ is a separate shop.
